Play a CD

To play a compact disc in Neurolateral:

1.  Place your disc in the CD drive and click the CD checkbox  on the Neurolateral screen.

2.  Choose the specific track you wish to play in the track drop-down box.  By default the same track will play over and over, so that long sets need not be interrupted.

3.  The playing of the CD will start and stop with the other modes in Neurolateral (with a left mouse click).  If you are doing the work in sets, the CD will stop at the end of a set, when you stop the program, and then continue where it left off when you re-start.

4.  When you do not wish to use CD play anymore,  click on the CD checkbox, and it will be de-selected. Then, even if you have left the CD in your drive, it will not play with the program.

Tip:  You can also control the CD functions under the CD Audio tab on the menu bar.

If another program starts up when you insert a CD into your drive, you must close this program, and then the CD will play properly in Neurolateral.  This occurs if another program is set to play CD audio by default.
